Borton & Sons, Inc. participated in the Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure Food Show in Orlando, FL last week. This year was the 10th anniversary for Southern Exposure and our 8th as an exhibitor. There were over 1,500 attendees including growers/shippers, suppliers, retailers and food service chains. The three day event included a golf tournament at the Reunion Resort & Club, Gala Opening Party, many seminars, the show floor and a Closing Party.
“The Southern Exposure offers great value overall. It is a very productive venue allowing our company to interface with our current customers and potential new customers. The overall show presents a tremendous opportunity for one on one conversations due to the size of the show and attendees attending. It also enables us to market our company to a variety of individuals and companies by show-casing our product at the expo.” States Jay Dyer, Director of Sales & Marketing.
Merchandising in our booth consisted of numerous Apple Varieties, mostly premium 72s, 6# clam shells, 3# and 5# Soft Net Bags in a number of labels including our generic Borton label, private label options, Smaller Fruits for Smaller Appetites label, NFL Fuel Up to Play 60 vertical bag, and our Tajin label. We also displayed a number of Pear varieties and packaging. See picture of our booth below.
