Yakima, WA – Borton Fruit is gearing up to exhibit at PMA’s Fresh Summit 2015 in Atlanta, GA. This will be Borton Fruit’s 15th year attending the PMA. “This show allows us to show our products, who we are as a company, and allows us to engage with current and potential customers, buyers and decision makers” stated Jay Dyer, Director of Sales & Marketing.
We will be highlighting our premium apple and pear varietals in a number of ways, bringing the orchard to the show. “We feel this is a great opportunity to share our story that will involve merchandising of our new tray pack cartons, euro cartons, and half cartons as well as soft net bags, poly bags, clam shells, RPC’s, secondary and full tote bins and much more” said Jay. “We will also be highlighting our newest varieties; the Rockit® and Koru® which we’ve been marketing and introducing to the industry the past couple years. Both apples originated in New Zealand and they are unique in their own way creating an unbelievable and consistent eating experience. The Rockit® has a sweet-humbling crunch for flavor and come in very unique tubed packaging. The Koru® has a sweet-crisp and hearty robust flavor. Currently we are importing both varieties from New Zealand while we are waiting on production from our own trees here in Washington State. We will have quantities available in a couple years” he went onto say.
Borton fruit will have a full staff on site that will be sharing our story and available to answer any questions for our current and potential customers. Please come by and see us at booth #727.
