Soft Net History
Borton & Sons, Inc. first introduced apples in a Soft Net Bag in the spring of 2001. Borton partnered with Giro, a manufacturer of Soft Net bagging machines from Spain, to pilot the implementation of Soft Net bags into the apple industry. The Soft Net Bags quickly were an overwhelming success and continue to be a core strength in our company today.
